Glasgow is heaven in summer.
The days are long and the nights come alive in Glasgow in summer.

1. Outdoor Cinema
Queens Park is putting on FREE outdoor cinema, you just need to reserve a ticket. Everything from Pink Floyd's The Wall, to Purple Rain, Footloose, it sounds like a blast.

2. Paradise for Live Music
The Kelvingrove Bandstand = outdoor concerts in the city's biggest parks. Van Morrison is sold out, but there are still tickets for Jesus and Mary Chain!
King Tut's Wah Wah Hut: uthentic music heads, pints and dancing. a bit less underground than Sleazys bands like Affleck's Palace
Stereo cafe/bar is another heaven for indie and cult club nights. The venue comes alive and the crowd energy is awesome
Nice n Sleazy for sweaty basement gigs and clubs, featuring the next big things.
The Hydro for big sound experiences such as Paolo Nutini and Arcade Fire.
The SubClub is one of the UK"s best nightclub experiences. The bass, the lights, the hottest names such as Kerri Chandler, Horsemeat Disco, Optimo.
3: A World Class Warehouse
SWG3 is a world class venue, this summer they're hosting regular BBQs on the garden terrace, party Bingo, outdoor music festivals and after parties.
The level of the acts and execution is also top notch. Look out for their clever eco-tech - the dancefloor lights are powered by the dancers' body heat!
The venue is a short walk from the Clydeside area, Transport museum, and Finnieston.
